Centre for Additive Manufacture – Metal, CAM², focus on material and process development for powder-based metal additive manufacturing (3D printing).
In the competence centre CAM², universities, research institutes, companies and public actors conduct research in close cooperation within the area of additive manufacturing of metal. The centre offers the most complete state-of-the-art infrastructure in Sweden.
Additive manufacturing – or metal 3D printing – is a revolutionary technology with the potential to change the entire manufacturing landscape. With additive manufacturing it is possible to create innovative and advanced metallic components in a completely new way, with brand new performance and functionality.
