The solar car constructed byChalmers Solar Team
Chalmers Student Teams are student-led projects where students from different programmes work together to design, develop, build and test innovative vehicles all the way from the initial idea to the finished product and international competition.
The projects are run entirely by students, with support from Chalmers in the form of facilities, workshops and other resources. You'll gain invaluable hands-on experience in solving real-world engineering challenges, collaborating across disciplines and managing complex projects. These are skills and experiences highly valued by future employers, giving you a head start in your career. At the same time, you'll become part of a community where you can grow and challenge yourself.

Chalmers CAESAR Team brings together students with a shared passion for space technology, giving them the opportunity to design, develop and build rockets.
Chalmers Formula Sailing Team
Chalmers Formula Sailing Team designs and builds innovative, high-performance racing sailboats, combining sustainability with speed.
Chalmers Solar Team
Chalmers Solar Team develops and builds solar-powered racing cars to compete in some of the world's most challenging competitions.
Chalmers Vera Team
Chalmers Vera Team develops and improves one of Sweden's most fuel-efficient cars, competing internationally against teams from other universities.
The Master's course Formula Student
Formula Student is an elective Master's course at Chalmers and is not part of Chalmers Student Teams.
In the Chalmers Formula Student course, students design, develop, build and test their own formula-style racing car. By taking on a real-world engineering project, from initial concept to international competition, students gain valuable hands-on experience and excellent preparation for their future careers.
